The passing score is 6 out of 10 points on each subject. The exam is held at a Dutch embassy or consulate in Thailand.

Learn with Teacher Oiy Orawan Vlaar

Teacher Oiy Orawan Vlaar is Thai, married to a Dutch husband, and has lived in the Netherlands since 2016. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s in Business Administration from Khon Kaen University. She previously worked as an International Affairs Officer at Khon Kaen University, and took on freelance work as a translator, interpreter, and English teacher.

She holds Dutch language diplomas from A2 to B2 (Inburgeringsdiploma A2, Staatsexamen Programma 1 B1, NT2 B2) and has over 5 years of experience teaching Dutch to Thai students. She teaches correct, foundational Dutch rather than rote memorization, and weaves in real insight into Dutch society and culture from over 10 years of living there.
